The lay off...
During these tough times - count your blessings that you have a job. I just got laid off. BUT will I sit around and whine about it? NO. Change is good and this means more painting for me. As I frantically get myself out there posting and applying for a job, I find peace with a brush in my hand and a blank canvas in front of me. I've started to paint a series of "abstract landscape" pieces featuring the ocean, beaches and farm lands. These pieces will also include a swing... a swing from heaven. Stay tuned to see what it's all about. I'm excited for this series and hope to show these pieces come Fall. In the meantime, send me some positive vibes... this girl needs to get PAID!
